Version 1.2.2 - 30.05.2025
- EXIF, XMP, and ICC data are now hopefully removed without loss, so that image quality is preserved

Version 1.2.1 - 20.05.2025
- Improved language detection
- The full path to the output folder is now displayed above the “Start Processing” button
- The log output now shows the complete file path of the processed images

Version 1.2.0 – 19.05.2025:
This version introduces several convenience and usability improvements that make the application easier to use

- Smart target selection: Cleaned images can now be saved either in the default “cleaned” subfolder or in a custom directory of your choice
- Dynamic selection buttons: The image selection buttons now clearly indicate the steps “1. Select source” and “2. Select target”
- Clear storage indicator: A live status message under the buttons always shows where the cleaned files will be saved, including automatic reset after clearing
- Improved log output: Status messages after cleaning are now clearly differentiated – metadata removed, no visible change, skipped, etc
- Automatic language detection: The app automatically starts in the correct system language (German, English, or Japanese)
- Language-aware README: The integrated help file is displayed in the system language
- Clean reset: Clicking “🧹 Clear output” fully resets all interface elements and counters

Version 1.1.0 – 17.05.2025:
- A convenient sorting feature has been added to the output display. The codebase has been thoroughly optimized and streamlined.
- The built-in Readme now provides even easier access to essential information directly within the app.
- To ensure maximum transparency and security, the archive also includes a SHA-256 checksum file (GI-MetaCleaner_x64.sha256.txt), allowing users to verify the authenticity and integrity of the application with confidence.

Version 1.0.0 – 16.05.2025:
