Starsand by Tunnelvision relies on the Unity-Engine and thus players get the full broadside of the integrated Unity-Analytics.
What does this product do?
The first click on the Exe file activates the Crashlytics of the Unity-Engine. Then on the way to the Main-Menu, the main tracker of the Unity-Engine is activated. The service remains in the background during the entire gamingsession and performs its service as a session, - and event tracker.
Since the user is still in or on the way to the main menu, it remains to be mentioned that the product opens also a connection to the Valve servers, namely to the
Steam Datagram Relay Service of the Valve Corporation. Various IPv4 addresses are addressed here.
Last but not least activated in the game away from the Crashlytics (even if it is the same domain), the Unity service for Cloud Reports.
However, a funny sideaspect: If you want to "help" the developer with bug reports ^^ (is not as if he has already got everything with the mechanics), you have the possibility to fill out and send an integrated feedback form. For this purpose, an SMTP channel is set up to the main domain of Tunnel Vision Studio.
It's like Facebook "You want to apply for a job? Go ahead, we don't need any documents, since we already have everything about you anyway."
