SteamStub DRM (83)  


SteamStub DRM is a DRM technology used by Valve Corporation for games on the Steam platform. It aims to limit the illegal duplication and distribution of games by implementing mechanisms to verify the authenticity of the game and to bind it to a specific Steam account. However, the technology does not provide proper protection, because SteamStub can be removed in fractions of a second using tools such like Steamless.
