Microids, formerly known as Microïds, is a French video game developer and publisher based in Paris. Founded in 1985 by Elliot Grassiano, the company achieved early success with games released in international markets by Loriciel in France and other partners such as Activision and Broderbund.
In November 2009, Anuman Interactive, acquired by Média-Participations, announced the acquisition of Microïds which was completed on 1 January 2010. Thereafter, Microïds continued its activity as a division of Anuman. In July 2019, the name Microïds was simplified into Microids .
The company also has a minority stake in OSome Studio since April 2022. Known Microids games include "Syberia", "Amerzone", "Subject 13", "The A.B.C. Murders" und "Yesterday Origins"
